Awards

Awards are a key program for the Alberta Human Rights Commission to reach out to Albertans and engage them in human rights and diversity, and recognize and celebrate the good work of Albertans in advancing human rights and promoting the benefits of diversity in Alberta. 

The Alberta Award for the Study of Canadian Human Rights and Multiculturalism is funded through an endowment by the Human Rights Education and Multiculturalism Fund and is administered jointly by the Alberta Human Rights Commission and Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.
